For Honor: 9 Major Complaints & Issues Ubisoft Have Fixed

5. Increased Steel

FOR HONOR
Ubisoft

Probably the biggest and most major change Ubisoft made to For Honor was the increase in steel, due to the fan backlash at learning it would take two years of playtime just to unlock everything the game had to offer. Whilst the developers never intended everything to be experienced, they still changed their mind for the better.

This was one of the main things that sparked Ubisoft's added efforts to accommodate fan's wishes, and whilst a lot has been said on the topic of such an unbelievable time sink and it's relation to microtransactions, it was really what pushed even the most diehard fans over the edge and marked the noticeable decline in the player base.

However, the increased steel acted as the sign that Ubisoft are taking more care and whilst the steel has increased dramatically, it still isn't as high as a lot of fans would like. And chances are we can expect another increase at some point in the future, especially with the new heroes and the amount of steel they are charging to unlock them.

I like video games, writing and writing about video games. Expect sarcasm and the dry wit of a Brit. And the occasional rant of a unhappy Scot. You know... the usual.
