For Honor: 9 Major Complaints & Issues Ubisoft Have Fixed
6. The Game Is Fairly Well Balanced
When it comes to an online game, balancing is the main focus, and can ultimately be the downfall of a game if done incorrectly. When For Honor was launched there were a lot of balancing issues, and for a time it was as if Ubisoft were balancing the game to be played against bots, often leaving the most overpowered characters, well, overpowered, and tweaking characters that were near perfect.
However, over time they grew increasingly more attentive when it came to fan backlash in regard to certain characters, and it's safe to say that the game is fairly well balanced with only a few minor tweaks necessary (except for the Valkyrie, the Valkyrie is absolutely terrible).
And as it stands, Ubisoft are fixing what needs to be fixed with the team paying special attention to the forums and actually taking fan feedback into account. It can be hard to gauge the overall fairness of a character simply by testing them, as players will often weed out the cheaper way to play each one, often unearthing them as unfair in the long run.
But it seems like the balancing is going in the right direction, and we can only hope they don't end up further tinkering and breaking it!
