Fortnite Battle Royale: 9 Simple Features To Make It Better Than PUBG

4. Crafting Items

The crafting system has already proven to be a huge game changer in Fortnite, as the ability to tear down the environment and build your own structures can radically change the way each match plays out.

Want to get to a weapon at the top of a mountain but don't want to follow the path in case someone's watching it? Just build your own staircase and sneak in from behind. Stuck in the middle of nowhere and see enemies coming in from the distance? Craft yourself a bit of temporary housing as some cover.

Tactics like this separate the good Fortnite players from the great, and going forward this crafting system should become even deeper. Not only used for structures, the resources you find in the world should also be able to be used to create valuable resources like ammo, explosives or traps, making scavenging even more vital.

It isn't really worth the time to break down the environment for resources, but it would be if they could be used to make offensive items.
