4. Use A Killed Enemy's Loot As Bait

Killing another player in Fortnite is incredibly satisfying. Not only because you've just ruined someone's chances at winning while you get to continue surviving, but the explosion of loot that follows every death always promises some epic new gear.

However, you should refrain from running straight to these loot drops once you've clinched a kill, as there's a good chance that the racket you caused to score the victory will have attracted nearby players.

Obviously, if there's a rare weapon or a rocket launcher that will give you the leg up you need for future firefights you shouldn't hesitate to pick it up, but you should leave at least a couple enticing items as bait to attract nearby enemies.

Keeping an eye on the loot drop rather than running straight forward could allow you to set the perfect ambush for an unsuspecting player thinking they've gotten lucky, only for you to double down on the amount of goodies you get to choose from.
