Forza Horizon 4 Review: 6 Ups & 3 Downs
4. It Might Be The Best Multiplayer Racer Ever
This might sound like hyperbole, but seriously, when it comes to pure online multiplayer mayhem, Forza Horizon 4 may well be the greatest game of its kind.
Much like Burnout Paradise, Horizon 4 understands that multiplayer racers work best when players have as much freedom and versatility as possible. To that end, there is SO much to do here, from simple online races to more eccentric modes such as Infected and Capture the Flag, and also free roam with up to 72 players.
Creating a shared world this large and ambitious could so easily have backfired, but if you can forgive some of the overly lengthy matchmaking times and overt abundance of loading screens, this is a masterful multiplayer suite that instantly becomes compulsively addictive.
