With WWE 2K24 now only a couple of weeks away from release, the game's complete, stacked roster has been revealed - and two names conspicuous by their absence are Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar.

In the midst of Janel Grant's lawsuit against McMahon - in which a former WWE World Champion and UFC fighter who The Wall Street Journal identifies as Brock Lesnar is referenced - Lesnar was pulled from the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition's cover. It's since been reported that it might be too late to fully remove Brock from the game, although the official announcement of WWE 2K24's full roster does not list Lesnar or McMahon.

Arriving on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, WWE 2K24 releases on 8 March, with the game available on 5 March for those who purchase the Deluxe or Icon editions.

For those who pre-order the standard version of WWE 2K24, you'll have the Nightmare Family DLC pack featuring 'Undashing' Cody Rhodes, Stardust, Dusty Rhodes '76, and 'Superstar' Billy Graham, with Cody Rhodes 'Mattel Bruised' - basically, a playable version of Mattel's action figure of the 'torn pec' Cody seen at Hell in a Call 2022 - for use in MyFaction. Pre-orders will also receive Post Malone as DLC.

If purchasing the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition of WWE 2K24, you'll receive Charlotte Flair WM33, 'Macho King' Randy Savage WM6, Rey Mysterio WM22, Rhea Ripley WM36, Triple H WM30, and the WrestleMania XL arena.

Once described as the Swiss Army Knife of WhatCulture, Andrew can usually be found writing, editing, or presenting on a wide range of topics. As a lifelong wrestling fan, horror obsessive, and comic book nerd, he's been covering those topics professionally as far back as 2010. In addition to his current WhatCulture role of Senior Content Producer, Andrew previously spent nearly a decade as Online Editor and Lead Writer for the world's longest-running genre publication, Starburst Magazine, and his work has also been featured on BBC, TechRadar, Tom's Guide, WhatToWatch, Sportkskeeda, and various other outlets, in addition to being a Rotten Tomatoes-approved film critic. Between his main day job, his role as the lead panel host of Wales Comic Con, and his gig as a pre-match host for Wrexham AFC games, Andrew has also carried out a hugely varied amount of interviews, from the likes of Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, Adrienne Barbeau, Rob Zombie, Katharine Isabelle, Leigh Whannell, Bruce Campbell, and Tony Todd, to Kevin Smith, Ron Perlman, Elijah Wood, Giancarlo Esposito, Simon Pegg, Charlie Cox, the Russo Brothers, and Brian Blessed, to Kevin Conroy, Paul Dini, Tara Strong, Will Friedle, Burt Ward, Andrea Romano, Frank Miller, and Rob Liefeld, to Bret Hart, Sting, Mick Foley, Ricky Starks, Jamie Hayer, Britt Baker, Eric Bischoff, and William Regal, to Mickey Thomas, Joey Jones, Phil Parkinson, Brian Flynn, Denis Smith, Gary Bennett, Karl Connolly, and Bryan Robson - and that's just the tip of an ever-expanding iceberg. Where his beloved Wrexham AFC is concerned, Andrew is co-host of the Fearless in Devotion podcast, which won the Club Podcast of the Year gong at the 2024 FSA Awards.
