6. Old Marcus Is Awesome

Surprise, surprise, but one of the best things about GoW4 is the re-appearance of Marcus Fenix. We won't spoil in what exact capacity he shows up, but it's safe to say that he has a solid role in proceedings, and gets more than merely a cursory cameo for the sake of fan service.

Seeing him aged 25 years is quite a sight indeed, but he's lost none of the spunk that made him so popular in the first place, and unexpectedly becomes the game's greatest source of riotous comic relief. Once you hear the guy raging about his tomatoes getting ruined by an impending enemy attack, it's hard not to be won over.
