Ghost Of Tsushima: 10 Reasons It's The PS4's Best Open-World Game

Lately, it seems as though RPGs are getting increasingly more complicated with their upgrades and leveling.

Series like Assassin's Creed and even God of War now feature heaps of loot that give X amount of bonuses to this or minus X amount of damage from that. An endless sea of white, blue, purple, and gold cluttering gamers inventories for years.

Thank goodness Sucker Punch came along and scrapped all that. Players do still have several skill trees to upgrade but all of the skills are relatively basic and only cost one point per upgrade. Aside from that, Jin's weapons and armour can also be upgraded but rather than have 20 wristguards to choose from, there are a select number of complete outfits that have unique properties.

For example, one outfit grants Jin the ability to draw his bow faster. Should Jin choose to upgrade his armour, the outfit itself will see a visual upgrade as well.

Another nice touch is that if the player prefers the look of the lower leveled armour, Jin can be equipped with any iteration of the outfit but still receive its bonuses.
