Ghost Of Tsushima: 10 Things We NEED To See
Are you ready to start slaying enemies in Feudal Japan? We sure are.
Back in October 2017, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Ghost Of Tsushima, the first Triple-A, open-world Samurai RPG. A kind of game we have all been wanting for what seems like decades. We then saw some gameplay at E3 in 2018 (which blew our minds). Graphics were terrific, the world was stunning, and gameplay itself looked very enjoyable. There was an official trailer released at The Game Awards in December 2019.
Back in March Playstation released a story trailer for the game, reassuring us that it was still on the way. On May 14 we had the most in-depth look at Ghost of Tsushima when Playstation released a State of Play video for the game which dove into the combat, stealth, and customisation of Ghost of Tsushima, as well as showing us the world and how the player navigates it.
Sufficed to say that it looked amazing, and I am very much looking forward to restoring order and slaying Mongols in war-torn feudal Japan. Sucker Punch has the chance here to set the standard for open-world, narrative-driven Samurai games, and here are some things this game must have to make it a truly amazing samurai experience.
