Ghost Recon: Wildlands - 10 Things We Learned From The Beta

10. Gunsmith Is Kind Of Brilliant

Without doubt the best thing about Future Soldier, Gunsmith is returning and in a big way for Wildlands, offering an immense range of weaponry and attachments for players to kit their Ghost out with for any given situation.

The sights aren't the only thing to trick out in this instance. No, instead you're given a license to kit out your weapon with everything from suppressors (a must, let's be honest), grenade launchers and grips, to triggers, stocks and magazines. It really helps players define their own role on the battlefield, whether they be a sniper, machine gunner, or grenadier; and if you fancy doing a bit of everything, then you can even switch your loadout up on the fly. How nice!

There's quite literally something for everyone in Wildlands, which, however much it may irk the realists in the fanbase, takes player freedom up a whole other notch altogether. I'd be genuinely surprised if you came across another Ghost with the exact same kit and, as it stands, I don't see another series in the genre being able to match it. Props to Ubi for sticking with such a promising concept.
