GTA 6: 10 Core Innovations It Needs To Stay Interesting

9. Custom Playlists

I'd wager the vast majority of people haven't heard even half of the audio content Rockstar record for their games. Be it fantastically-scripted socially-reflective fake news broadcasts that come amidst over-the-top interviews and talk shows, or the vast array of licensed music that's packed into the game under the hope that at some point you'll catch the side of a ramp and take flight JUST as Broken Wings kicks in, it seems something of a waste it's not more widely available. It's a very simple inclusion here, and one that Saint's Row IV already implemented in their own "Sure, why the hell not!" way; by simply allowing you to listen to the radio whenever you like. However with GTA V having it's own downloadable mobile app in the real world, why can we not access playlists - our own or otherwise - on the in-game mobiles or iPod-equivalents? Wouldn't you love to be embroiled in a downtown gunfight amongst lashings of Neo-vs-Smith-style rain, only to be listening to a spot of Stevie Wonder? Exactly.
