GTA 6: 10 Hottest New Rumours You're Not Supposed To Know
4. A Shared 'Rockstar World' Of Characters
This is a long shot in some respects, but the seeds have been sewn for years about a 'shared Rockstar universe' all along. We know the GTA games are linked, thanks to GTA III's Claude turning up in San Andreas, but what's cooler was John Marston popping up in GTA V in both the online multiplayer character select screen, and on an advert for P*sswasser beer.
Add to this, the leaked map from Red Dead Redemption 2, which directly references Mafia 3's 'New Bordeaux', the fictional version of New Orleans. Naturally this is being made by Hangar 13, but it proves Rockstar are more than up for connecting some of their locations to others, even from other games.
Point being, in this age of shared movie universes and other properties continually crossing over, Rockstar have the ability to introduce older characters as residents of whichever city you're roaming around in, either as mission givers or neat little easter eggs. Why not bring back fan-favourites as side characters and continue forward with one huge overarching story, instead of wiping the slate clean every few years?
