GTA 6: 8 Things It Must Learn From Red Dead Redemption 2
1. Improved Wanted System
Given that GTA is all about crime for most of the time, you'd think the wanted system within the games would be near flawless.
While there's nothing exactly wrong with the way the police are handled (aside from their tendency to crash into your car more than times than preferred), there is one major part that should be taken from RDR2 into GTA 6:
The bounty system.
Whenever the police lose you in GTA, that's the end of it until you start causing chaos once more. In RDR2 though, you have a wanted amount that can attract bounty hunters, who'll do anything to get their hands on the money.
Applying this to GTA would certainly be an interesting and welcome addition - going from town to town in Los Santos with a bounty over your head would make for some intense gameplay.
In reality, it seems sensible to add it in. Just because the police lose sight of you, it doesn't mean that you should be completely free of your crimes. Having this bounty attached until it's collected would work really well in terms of combat too - being we've got an entire city to hide in and fight through.
