The ninth-ranked entrant in this list is the Thrax. A recent addition to the game, it only entered our races after The Diamond Casino and Resort update in July 2019. Despite a slower top speed than the previously listed Tyrus, as well as a rating of just 85.04 for acceleration, the hypercar's appeal and $2,325,000 price tag comes from its perfect 100.00 handling attribute.
Supposedly based on the Bugatti Divo, the Thrax shows grip better than most vehicles available in the game. With a crazily impressive ability to take tight corners at a high speed or weave through traffic, this supercar really is a top set of wheels, although it is let down by its relatively average durability. This negative trait makes it a poor choice for races containing heavy crashes and impacts, and let's face it, what GTA race doesn't?
Under the control of safe and steady drivers (hard to come by in GTA's online playlists...), the Thrax offers the perfect combination of speed and handling, making it an obvious nomination as one of the top cars in GTA 5.
