6. Team Roles

The pre-heist loading screen allows you to select your role in the team, and one of the players who recorded his heist run commented that there are just a few basic player types to choose from so far: gunmen, hackers and defenders, though he suggested that there would likely be more in the final game. This would coincide with Funmw2's own discovery in the game code last month, where he found a wide number of roles, including attackers, bodyguards, defenders, demolition, drivers, gunmen, hackers, lookouts, pilots, runners, snipers and transporters. It's fair to suggest that the number of roles allowed in a mission depends on the context of the mission itself, and perhaps with the addition of the heist planning board in the final version of this mode, players will be able to add or omit as many player roles as they wish.
