GTA Trilogy Remake: 10 Missions We Can't Wait To Play (& 10 We're DREADING)
3. Dreading: Espresso 2 Go - GTA 3
In the original release of GTA 3, Espresso 2 Go is hands-down the hardest mission in the game.
The basic premise of the mission is this: Claude must drive to various locations around the city and destroy various espresso stands. This is easier said than done, as he has a countdown timer to content with, as well as very angry gang members who will shoot his car and try to ram him off the road any chance they get.
It was changed slightly for the Remasters a few years ago, but in the original release, this was even more difficult as the gang members had ridiculously overpowered shotguns that could shred your car to bits in seconds.
Perhaps the most frustrating thing about this particular mission is the lack of direction. If you cast your mind back, you'll remember that GTA 3 didn't actually have an in-game map, and only had a mini-map. For some reason the good people at Rockstar decided that on this mission they'd not bother putting indicators of where to go on the map until you're actually near them, so you'll spend ages aimlessly driving around the city looking where to go.
With a time limit of just 8 minutes to contend with too, you're going to fail this mission until you memorise all of the locations.
