GTA Trilogy Remake: 10 Missions We Can't Wait To Play (& 10 We're DREADING)

Grand Theft Auto Vice City is all about Tommy Vercetti rising up and establishing his very own criminal empire. Under the thumb of Sonny Forelli from Liberty City for most of the game, Tommy gradually begins to move away from listening to Sonny's orders, instead buying up a huge property portfolio, killing a hell of a lot of people, and dethroning the biggest drug baron in the state before promptly stealing his elaborate mansion for his own.

This, naturally, doesn't sit very well with Sonny.

What follows is Sonny's arrival in Vice City, and a mission where not only is Tommy tasked with killing Sonny and his goons, but also his friend and former comrade, Lance Vance. Lance betrays Tommy at the start of the mission, and you'll need to follow him through the mansion, blasting goons and dodging gunfire before finally putting him down on the rooftops.

Then there's just Sonny to deal with. Tommy follows him back through the mansion only to find out that 15 years ago, Sonny was the one responsible for putting him away in prison. You can probably guess what happens next to Sonny.

The whole thing is GTA Vice City's biggest homage in the game to the classic movie, Scarface. Not only does the mansion visibly resemble the scene in which there's a huge gunfight in the film, but it also plays out very similarly too. Even the title 'Keep Your Friends Close..' is a direct reference to a line in the movie.

It's by no means an easy mission and you'll probably fail it a few times, but the epic scale of the shootouts and the stakes involved makes it a very memorable end to the story of Tommy Vercetti.
