9. The Bottom of the Ocean
Similarly to the top of the world, you must go down to the bottom of the ocean. I remember the days when you couldn't even swim in a GTA game, now an immense amount of effort has been put into creating a vast underwater locale, ripe for the excited explorer. The first time I dove into the water was in one of Michael's mission where he has to swim to a boat. Even after all the extensive coverage of the underwater location, I was still expecting one of two things: one, to instantly die (I still haven't shook that feeling) and two, to get submerged in a drab and boring representation of how being in the drink looks. But no, that didn't happen. Michael dove in and my mind broke a little. It was fascinating, beautiful and colourful. And the water effects are truly astounding.
