6. Maude

Ah Maude, the trailer park woman who just wants Trevor to do some bounties and bring the captured people to her. It sounds like a normal set-up for a set of glorified fetch quests, but GTA V puts its own spin on the bounty/wanted mission. Maude herself is endearing by how un-endearing she is. A constantly sarcastic, bitter woman who talks in monotone and clearly either hates life or can't be bothered to gather the enthusiasm to prove otherwise, Maude shows that Rockstar can create a brilliant character in a relatively few number of cutscenes, and that the same care and attention is given to an entirely optional part of the game. Indeed, I didn't even meet Maude until after the end of the story, where I am now constantly in awe of just how much content there is, on one (or two, Xboxers) little disc. Most games would give you a stagnant scene for a side mission where you pick up the bounty, and then another scene where you get paid for it, but with GTA V, we get Maude, and we're all the better for her delightful charm.
