10. Glenn Beck
Anyone familiar with Glenn Beck, the Conservative radio host who used to have his own show on Fox News, will tell you that his rants about the state of America make Internet gold. Well, it is not surprising that Glenn is no fan of Rockstar or the games they produce. On his radio show, he
read a letter he received from an outraged employee who played GTA V after the company he works for kindly gave him a free copy of the game, a company tradition with every major release. But the employee wasnt impressed; they were disgusted, and Beck took great pleasure in reading out the review on his show. The letter said;
"I don't know if anybody really knows how bad Grand Theft Auto V really is, but it is the most degenerate game I've ever played, Glenn. I mean, I'm really hard to shock, but even I am shocked by this game. There is almost no storyline. It is just crack-smoking, lap dances and strip clubs and crime. Not only is there graphic sex with hookers in cars, but they even upsell specific services. One of the missions you have to shoot is a video of a young actress extremely graphically having sex on a picnic table, and your job is to shoot it for the paparazzi. The "N" word is used every ten seconds. The whole game is a string of expletives for the sake of using them as many times as possible. There is also no way to tone down or turn off the language. Oh, and then there's all the killing, but that's an afterthought to everything else....The sad thing is there are children crying to play this game. No child, anywhere, should ever be playing this game. Ever...Please make sure everyone knows, this is not just another game."
The last thing GTA V can be accused off is having no storyline. Thats like saying there are only a couple of cars to drive in the game. It is ridiculous, and clearly the employee didnt play it long enough to find the story. But they did sample the strip clubs, lap dancing etc, and Im sure that was just to find out exactly how depraved the game is and had nothing to do with getting their rocks off. They also must have unlocked some bonus mission I still have yet to find where you can smoke crack. If anyone knows how to do this in the game, please let me know. I do agree that children shouldnt play the game, and I also agree with them when they say this is not just another game. Its not.its Grand Theft Auto.
