GTA V: 10 Most Popular Features Fans Demand To See

5. Greater On-Foot Freedom

GTA has never really been a game that promotes traveling on foot unless absolutely necessary - I mean, why walk when you can just jack any vehicle in the immediate vicinity, am I right? However, there are those infuriating moments, when you spawn in an area completely devoid of traffic at 4.30 am and are forced to run indefinitely until one appears (inevitably it's almost always one of the worst cars available). I've heard it said more than once that the the inclusion of a more in-depth on-foot movement mechanic would simultaneously address the aforementioned issue while also improving those missions in which you're forced to run and climb. How about more of an emphasis on speed and agility when moving on foot? For example, why shouldn't R* give us the ability to slide over car bonnets, to clear fences and low obstacles with a single bound, to run up walls and high fences justa little, in order to reach a hand hold? Now I'm not saying that GTA V should bestow its protagonists with the sort of parkour abilities you'd expect in an Assassin's Creed game, but I'm inclined to agree with those who argue that GTA V needs to add a little more depth to its on-foot movement mechanics.
