1. Dark Souls II
The sequel to one of the strongest RPG's in years may not be here for a few more months yet, with an early March release date, but it promises to be worth the wait. Fantastically, it also promises to be bloody hard, the producers refusing to install an 'Easy' option. This can only be a good thing. Dark Souls II follows on from the difficult gameplay of the first instalment, with the only concession to newcomers being that the start of the game has been made to be slightly more accessible. Otherwise, you're thrown into the deep end. The gaming world is apparently twice the size of the original, with plenty of range to explore and enjoy the fantastic graphics that are available to view on preview trailers, the result of a more powerful graphics engine. Dark Souls was one of the more mature RPG's of recent years, and all the more enjoyable for it. If the sequel exceeds the qualities of its predecessor, then we're all in for a game special enough to make you shelve your copy of GTA V.
