3. Watch Dogs

Vigilantism is something which should clearly be kept to the confines of gaming but, let's face it, it is cracking fun to track down your families kidnappers and make them suffer big-time, especially when you're operating in a world as expansive as the one promised in Watch Dogs. Central character Aiden Pearce is a man who reacts to his environment, operating in the shadows and using his phone-hacking prowess to gain ground on his enemies. The gameplayer, and this is the aspect I'm most excited about, has autonomy over that environment. Every decision you make Pearce make can set off a butterfly reaction of events, with different consequences for Pearce and everybody around him as a result. It sounds unbelievably cool. The exact plot has been kept under wraps by Ubisoft, but the whispers coming from those in the know all point towards Watch Dogs being one of the games that should dominate Christmas and beyond.

I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
