GTA V: 10 Reasons I Hated Trevor

7. Implied Cannibalism

Cann Now time for the really dark and gritty stuff. Whilst it's never explicitly shown, or even that heavily implied being that you're never sure how much Trevor is joking, there is a section of the game where Michael and partner Lester head back to one of Trevor's safehouses, only for him to offer them some food and produce a bowl of what looks like some sort of stew or curry. Trevor remarks that it contains an eyelid although reassures that "it's probably not even human...unless...the gas station job..." before wolfing it down and carrying on with the conversation. By this stage in the game I was already viewing Trevor as some crazy symbol for free-wheeling nihilism, but the idea of cannibalism on the side? That was pushing the limits of escapism and 'why-the-hell-not-ery' just a tad too far. With Michael just sitting there, assuming some sort of daytime comedy-esque "Well that's my Trevor!" nonchalance, it was another addition to the list.
