GTA V: 10 Things We've Learned From The New Trailer

the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto V dropped, and the Internet has been abuzz ever since about everything new Rockstar Games has shown off, from the scintillating missions, to the new characters, to the eye-wateringly gorgeous graphics. There's so much to take in from this fantastic trailer that we've slowed it down, freeze-framed it, and had a good think about what it makes clear for the next instalment in the hugely popular franchise. Here are 10 things that are guaranteed for GTA V.

10. GTA Is Fun Again

Unlike the previous teaser trailer, we get to hear a lot more dialogue here, making it clear that the tone is a lot more light-hearted than the surprisingly serious Grand Theft Auto IV. It tried so hard to be a serious, cinematic outing that a lot of the time it forget to be fun, too, and the satirical bent that the series is famous for suffered as a result. Still, the jovial banter between the characters makes us hopeful that this has been remedied in GTA V; it's all well and good crafting a good story, but these games have always been a bit silly, and so Rockstar should stick to that rather than get too big for their breeches. The above image, of Michael's son, Jimmy, clinging to a yacht that's careening down the highway seems to suggest this is back to the silly, fun GTA of old, where it's more keen to put a smile on your face than make you viscerally involved, and frankly, that's very welcome.
