9. Keep Away From Straight Roads & Freeways
The cops love a straight road. Their cars are fast and it means they can keep you in their field of vision. To avoid this, turn corners as much as possible. It may seem like the bacon are keeping up with you, but keep at it and eventually you'll pull away enough to induce the cones of vision which means you can try find a place to hide. Staying off straight roads when the cops are searching for you sounds like a no brainer, and it is. You will often find that by staying on a straight line, new cop cars will come out of nowhere towards you. By sticking to the side roads and away from Freeways, and by pressing down on your D-Pad (zoom out the mini-map), you can keep one step ahead.
