Trevor is something of a loose-cannon in the game, and it's no surprise that he's one of the most likely characters to take exception to your own choices, and simply over-ride them. If you force Trevor to listen to the music he doesn't like, he will follow his normal character traits and become unfeasinly angry, switching the radio station back on his own, without a player prompt. Incidentally, if you wish to avoid Trevor's wrath, it's best to keep it dialled to Channel X, his favourite station.
