GTA V: 15 More Amazing Easter Eggs & Secrets You Need To Find

7. Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Rockstar have shoe-horned in a good few references to their other games, especially with the Max Payne Hawaiian shirt, and the apparent reference to Agent (will we see it announced eventually for the PS4?) and they continue the trend by adding in a couple of Red Dead Redemption nods. The first comes in Franklin's house in Vinewood: if you enter his bedroom, you'll find a number of interesting items, including his stash of weed (behind the fan), but the most interesting, and probably easiest to miss is the contents of his book case. There are a couple of stand-out titles, and the most notable is "Red Dead" by one J. Marston, which of course follows the revelation in Red Dead Redemption that Jack Marston planned to write a book about the Wild West. Secondly, there's also a farm to the South of the penitentiary that more than closely resembles John Marston's farm from Red Dead Redemption. There are also a pair of roads in Sandy Shores that reference the Wild West game - Cholla Springs Avenue and Armadillo Avenue.
