GTA V: 20 Reasons Why You Should Be Excited

16. A-List Voice Actors

The voice acting talent has gone from strength to strength in the GTA franchise but Rockstar were securing performances from known Hollywood actors even as early as GTA III, which boasted turns from Michael Madsen, Joe Pantoliano and Frank Vincent, among others. Vice City saw its protagonist voiced by the phenomenal Ray Liotta, as well as supporting performances by Tom Sizemore, Burt Reynolds and the late, great Dennis Hopper; while other big names from the series include Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Penn, James Woods, Jason Sudeikis and Ricky Gervais. And believe me, that€™s an abridged list. In fact so many celebrities are willing lend their trademark voices to the GTA series that that should be a fairly decent indication of how good it really is, or at least how much money is being spent on making it good. When GTA V drops €“ whenever that may be €“ we€™re looking forward to playing the €˜whose-voice-is-that€™ game as much as we are to popping our first cap in somebody€™s ass.
