GTA V: 30 Reasons Why You Should Be Excited

23. Welcome Distractions

Many of us got obsessed with attaining that elusive 100% status in GTA IV. To get there we needed to win car races, deliver drugs, take down scum as a vigilante and even solve Liberty City€™s flying rat problem. None of it was necessary in beating the main story of course, but it expanded the game world beyond the linear, and only served to aid that feeling that we could do what we wanted, when we wanted. It only stands to reason that we€™ll have more of these mini-game missions to occupy ourselves with in GTA V, but what they€™ll be exactly, we€™re not exactly sure at this point. We're expecting more races and vigilante missions as vanilla, but what else will Rockstar throw into the mix this time? Whatever it may be, we€™re excited to find out!
