GTA V: 5 Forgotten Side Missions That Have To Return

2. Beach Patrol

GTABeachPatrol Once more touching on the "randomised dynamic missions" that will be carried over from Red Dead Redemption into GTA V, the "Beach Patrol" side mission could actually tie in pretty well should it be given a Los Santos revival. Beach Patrol was a side mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories located at Washington Beach and has never been featured in any GTA game since. It required the player to enter a parked red BF Injection and then complete up to 15 levels of beach-based drama. From drowning swimmers to unconscious bathers, the player's job during this side mission is basically to ferry around an actually-licenced health professional to various catastrophes within a certain amount of time and watch as they saved people's lives. Considering the player will be presented with random situations while on their travels, it would make sense for this feature to return, except this time with the player actually doing the rescuing and not some fame-stealing paramedic. And if you thought the image of David Hasselhoff striding down the beachfront flexing his muscular thighs while carrying a paddle as he raced toward a drowning swimmer was romantically heroic, the thought of dirtbag hillbilly Trevor doing the same may lead you to reconsider that notion.
