GTA V: 5 Mini-Games That Should Not Return

2. Arm Wrestling (GTA IV: The Lost and The Damned)

Definitely a game that should only be played a few times. Its inclusion in The Lost and The Damned was understandable but I really think that due to the expansive nature of GTA V, including it would seem pointless as there are so many other things to do. The Lost and The Damned version of Arm-Wrestling sits in the category of mini-games that you€™d only play once or twice before becoming bored and never playing again. The major problem was the mechanics of this mini-game which made the player wiggle the right analogue stick repeatedly in order to win. While it initially sounds innocuous, the damage that could be done to the controller would result in a wonky right stick, especially if you used your palm instead of your finger to win. The right stick in most games is predominantly used as a method of turning to see what is going on. The damage caused would mean the camera would repeatedly spin, causing much annoyance. However, Rockstar did decide to change the mechanics of the Arm Wrestling mini-game in Red Dead Redemption. Here, the game seems more appropriate, with outlaws facing of for honour and while it is executed far better in Red Dead Redemption, I just feel GTA V would not be any better with its addition.
