4. Destructible Environments
To hark back to that line of text at the end of the gameplay video, which read: "This video was captured entirely from in-game footage," are we to take the above image as proof that we will be able to destroy environments in GTA V? This still was taken from Michael's trailer, released a few months ago, as he crashes into a truck, flips it onto its side, and rams it straight through a brick wall. At the time, we didn't know if this was footage taken from a specially-made cut-scene, or whether it was actual, in-game video. Now we know. The gameplay video showed off the same scene. We can actually do this sort of stuff in GTA V. We've never been able to destroy environments in any GTA game before, with the exception of knocking down lampposts or the occasional fence, which means, if our claims are accurate, we will be able to trash the landscape for the first time ever in GTA V. If physics like this are included in the game, I'm getting into town to blow skyscrapers up with a rocket launcher for a solid hour.
