4. Picking Up Hitchhikers - To Kill Or Not?
An example of these "randomised dynamic missions" provided to us by Rockstar in November's edition of Game Informer was the aforementioned encountering of hitchhikers stood at the side of the road. You could for example be speeding down some country road in the middle of nowhere and see just off the horizon a weary traveller stood holding him thumb out hoping for a lift. Do you stop the car and let him jump on in, or do you continue on your merry way? Your decision could yield many different outcomes, for instance, if you let him in, he may attempt to mug you or steal your car, or he (or she) may be in need of urgent medical attention, in which instance you would face a race against the clock to get them to the nearest hospital. You could also give a hitchhiker a lift to meet your own sinister desires. Perhaps you just want to kill them in a remote area and plunder their cash...
