3. Fort Zancudo & It's Lack Of Presence In The Story
Echoing 'Area 69' from predecessor GTA San Andreas, GTA V houses Fort Zancudo, a no fly zone and restricted area to the player. However, unlike 69, Zancudo scarcely features in the game's narrative, save for one mission that requires Trevor to steal a Cargobob. In San Andreas, on the other hand, the military base was shrouded in much more mystery, with strong implications that it was concealing top secret documents, aliens and UFOs. Taking into account all the aforementioned extraterrestrial Easter Eggs dotted around the map, such as the sunken spaceship, it doesn't take too much of a leap in the imagination to presume the fine people at Fort Zancudo played some part in its shooting down and destruction. In Fort Zancudo, Rockstar have an excuse for UFO DLC all on its own, given the potential it serves for an extended storyline and likelihood that it actually is a covert FIB-controlled UFO hub. Or at least, that's what the spacecraft that hovers above Mount Chiliad after 100% completion suggests.
