GTA V: 5 Reasons Why It's Make Or Break

GTA V I said it when it was first announced, and despite all the hype, there€™s still the nagging doubt at the back of my mind telling me that this could be the death of the illustrious Grand Theft Auto franchise. Of course, I still remain optimistic for Rockstar€™s latest instalment of their flagship game series, and cannot wait for September when I can finally get my hands on what is undoubtedly the biggest game of the year, and look forward to wasting many hours like I have on previous GTA titles. Despite this, my aforementioned doubts still nag at the back of my mind, and I hope that my fears aren€™t realised come September, when Michael, Franklin and Trevor are finally unleashed on the world. Anyway, enough beating around the bush, in no particular order, let€™s get on with those 5 reasons€ 5. It€™s Been A Long Time Coming GTA V Since 2008 we have been starved of GTA action. Apart from the Episodes from Liberty City DLC and Chinatown Wars, there has been absolutely nothing for die-hard fans, and this has left us craving the sweet release of GTA V. Now to use an old saying €˜good things come to those who wait€™ and that is ultimately what we hope for, as the mammoth 5 year wait has left us all expecting something that is truly worth the wait. Of course, with the gargantuan time we€™ve had to wait since the last main game, there is a danger that we€™ve all become overly expectant, and that the game will fail to impress even in regards to normal levels of expectation. Make or Break: Whilst the long wait has succeeded in building hype, the game has to be fantastic in order to live up to expectations, and a mediocre game will not suffice in this instance.
