GTA V: 5 Reasons Why The Delay Isn't Such A Bad Thing

1. Rockstar Will Likely "Appease" Us With Rewards

gameinformer Rockstar aren't completely out of touch with their fan base, they know people are annoyed by the delay. What's more, they have a duty to ensure that hype for the game doesn't die down, as it perhaps has done with the announcement that it will be delayed until September. Rockstar need to keep fans interested (and perhaps even sweet) if they are to maintain a high enough level of interest in the game for a further four months, and there's a very easy way to do that - release more information, trailers and screenshots. This could be viewed as Rockstar "appeasing fans" annoyed by the delay and I am pretty certain all the bitterness, hostility and resentment would melt away with, let's say, another trailer or two, a few more screens, and perhaps even one more information blowout E.g. last year's Game Informer magazine spread. Over the next couple of months, don't be surprised to see R* treat fans to a lot more information regarding the game than they would have done had it not been for the delay.
