5. Skimmer
Grand Theft Auto V features a variety of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, such as cargo planes, crop dusters, jets and more, but one strange omission on release day was the seaplane. Known in the GTA franchise as a "Skimmer", the aquatic plane features in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. Considering it made an appearance the last time we were transported into Rockstar's reimagining of California in 2004's San Andreas, its omission this time round is made all the more strange. Rockstar have paid so much attention to detail to sealife in GTA V with a fully-explorable underwater world to discover as well as making the ocean itself look far more realistic. It would be a good touch then to expand upon this slightly and bring back the Skimmer, arguably one of the more enjoyable of aircraft to fly in the series.
