8. Swap Between Characters Outside Of Missions
A likely nod to the versatility of the character-swapping mechanics is that you are able to swap between characters outside of missions as well. Though we don't know exactly how it works, we can see from the trailer that selecting another character results in you being dropped into whatever they're doing; Michael has just completed a bike ride with his son, while Trevor is playing hide and seek with the cops. Granted, this could quickly become irritating if you need a player to perform a specific function but also need to shake a 5-star wanted rating first, yet hopefully Rockstar have kept this in mind when designing the game (they surely have). Still, the idea that your characters are off on their own, living their lives while you control one is extremely appealing, and will make the game feel more dynamic and "alive".
