GTA V Online: Finance & Felony - 10 Things You Need To Know

8. Warehouses, Offices And More Are Up For Sale

GTA V
Rockstar

As far as purchasable living spaces go, GTA already had a wide and varied selection to choose from. There are garages, high rise apartments, spaces with customisable interiors, yachts, and even stilt houses.

Compared to what's out now, however? They've already been surpassed.

Though we shall forgo the audible groans of players lamenting the potential prices of these locales for now, it must be said that these places are going to be pricey for a reason.

After all, no luxurious office has ever gone on the cheap - especially not those situated in the heart of L.A.'s financial sector. The ability to edit these places in-game is also going to be fantastic, as players can hire secretaries, change the layout of their base of operations, and do it all within the towering heights of the Maze Bank building. It's pretty cool no matter what way you look at it - so much so that it manages to stave off cynical critiques of their inclusion at this time.

Warehouses are going to work a little bit differently, serving a more practical function than their executive counterparts. If the trailer is anything to go by, players will get to store all their 'merchandise' at a safehouse of their choosing, before selling it on to potential customers.

Rockstar have yet to detail how this will impact the in game economy, but at least we can rest assured that it's a fantastic premise.

Content Producer/Presenter

WhatCulture's very own resident movie guy, Ewan has been working in the content creation biz for over 10 years now, having started as a freelance contributor to WhatCulture Gaming all the way back in 2015. After graduating with a First-Class Honours in History from Northumbria University in 2017 (where he won a prize for a totally killer dissertation on the Watergate years), Ewan took on the role of Comics Editor at WhatCulture and quickly developed WhatCulture Comics into one of the biggest superhero-focused channels on YouTube. He followed this with a brief hiatus at Screen Rant in 2021, where he worked across the Gaming and Film sections as a writer and editor, before returning to WhatCulture as a Senior Content Producer / Presenter in 2023. He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well. In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
