If you can't decide between going staying in first or third person, you'll additionally be able to make it so the game jumps out to third person when you're in cover, Rainbow Six-style. It's a pretty slick mechanic that should make for the best of both worlds for the majority of players. The actual switching if you've not set it in the menu - on PS4 anyway - is to press the big touchpad button, although we're sure the Xbox One will find something just as simple to prod whenever necessary.
