9. You Can Go Anywhere
One of the things we love about Grand Theft Auto V is that, unlike previous games in the series, you can go literally anywhere you like straight from the off. In the past, the game would be split up into a variety of islands that would be inaccessible to the player initially until certain missions have been completed. But this time round, you can just hop in a car, or use a cheat to spawn a helicopter, and explore the entire world at your own leisure. One of the things that makes this even more enjoyable is that the open world has more layers to it than ever before. Every mountaintop, beach cove and crevice has a secret to hide, and it is this mystery that makes us want to see what's at the top of that mountain in the distance in the first place. GTA V doesn't just let you explore - it encourages you too.
