Rockstar have come in for severe criticism in the weeks and months since Grand Theft Auto's release over perceived sexism and misogyny in the game. Women in GTA V are depicted as prostitutes, strippers and blonde, vacuous, air-headed bikini babes (above) who can occasionally be found wandering around with their breasts out at certain points in the day, while the continued lack of a female protagonist continues to draw some fans' ire. Rockstar included three protagonists for the first time ever in a GTA game with 'V', yet they still saw no room to make one of them a woman, while there are very few - if any - strong female roles. We hope the publishers realise the error of their ways with future DLC expansion packs by providing us with a female protagonist at long last or at the very least giving women a more equal footing in their fictitious world.
