9. "The Soundtrack Sucks Ass"
Source: GTA Forums"it sucked on GTA IV as well but now I cant think of one single song I like in this game... so much garbage in the radio. i guess its a matter of taste but still.. i loved the soundtrack of san andreas and of course vice city. I think this game is missing big hits"
Oh, come on. If there's one thing GTA doesn't need, it's more chart hits making the open world experience more like a commercial radio station with a limited playlist focusing on the hits. Miley Cirus and Robin Thicke have their place, but it isn't in Los Santos.
Did They Play? A resounding yes, considering the source of the comment, and the username "GTAIsMyLove" you'd have to suspect.
Diagnosis It might not have the immediately memorable musical moments that older franchise additions (particuilarly Vice City) had, but the bredth of musical content in GTA V is astonishing, and there is clearly a commitment to the radio stations that most developers simply would not care to build. And the soundtrack is great, adding to the superlative environment the same way San Andreas and Vice City's soundtracks so memorably did, and you have to suspect that it is merely the unfamiliarity that propelled this particular forum commenter to their keyboard. If anyone doubted it further, the game includes Eddie Murphy's "Party All The Time" and Warren G's incredible "Regulate:" both brilliant additions for very different reasons.
