GTA V: The First 7 Things You Will Do On The Game

2. Dabble In The Story

Gta V Image 6 Oh, go one then. You have had your fun, I suppose you should actually see what the writers and designers have spent the last 5 years crafting. You will try and see if you can pull yourself away from causing havoc in the finite sandbox to actually further the context of what you are doing in this city. I, of course, am joking. Grand Theft Auto has often told rather solid stories, both parodying and paying homage to the popular culture. The triple-pronged narrative of GTA V seems to have set up a rather interesting dynamic and I am interested to see how they establish that group and also where their emotional stories start to bleed into each other. There seems to be a lot of potential for this kind of narrative interplay and I'd be shocked if we didn't see it come to fruition. Of course, the story is actually what gives the game context and context is what make Grand Theft Auto not the crazy 'death simulator' some detractors might want you to think. As alluded to before, the game is a satirical take on the western ideals of success and fame. The true irony of the game is that while it invites you to live this lifestyle, even celebrate it, under the surface, it is still condemning it. Everything I have seen so far from the story so far looks interesting and shows a degree of craft to compliment the gameplay. There isn't too much to go on, but we will find out more in due time.
