1 Boot Up The Multiplayer
Grand Theft Auto has always had an iffy relationship with multiplayer. They have been trying to get it right since San Andreas but have never been able to see it take off in the way I'm sure Rockstar would have hoped. While neither the multiplayer in San Andreas of GTA IV were bad or devoid of ideas, they just never had the lasting appeal of the single player. However, despite it not being true, some studio execs firmly believe that a game can't be successful without a multiplayer component. With that, it seems Rockstar are taking another crack at the whip and this time, they could have nailed it. You will have seen the video that partially explains the multiplayer, and you want to see what all the fuss is about. After you've finished a few high speed police chases and noodled with the story, you will probably want to jump in and see what the fuss is about. Alright, I lied. If you are getting the game at launch, It may not be one of the first things you do as the multiplayer won't actually be live until two weeks after that. But once it goes live you will want to take a look. It looks like a really interesting space to play in, being a persistent GTA world that changes over time and allows you to customise a lot about yourself. If you do buy the game after October 1st, I doubt it will take you too long before you start exploring. What else are you looking forward to do first in GTA V? Think I missed something?
