2. Jaws & Other Sea Monsters
For the first time in any Grand Theft Auto game to date, animals are going to feature in a realistic ecosystem when GTA V ships later this year. So far, we know that coyotes, bobcats and cougars will be stalking the mountainous regions of the game, that one of the principal characters has a Rottweiler called Chop, and that the oceans will be teeming with sharks. We also know that we will be able to explore the underwater regions of Los Santos with scuba diving equipment and even submarines, and that the ocean floor will be strewn with shipwrecks and other such interesting things. Considering that Rockstar are making the underwater world of Los Santos so immersible, it makes sense for them to exploit that by throwing in some sort of myth. GTA Vice City, they could be spotted, but not interacted with, swimming below the ocean. In
GTA San Andreas, many mistook the more innocent Dolphin species as being their razor-sharped cousin. Now that sharks are featuring in GTA V, and can be interacted with, it would be brilliant if Rockstar put their own, unique spin on things by throwing in something unexpected like a giant sea monster. It'd give us all a big reason to delve to the seabed to see what lurks below...
