GTA V: "The Shed" And 5 More Myths & Legends We Want To See

1. CJ's Ghost

Characters from previous games in the GTA series gone by will not be returning in GTA V. Rockstar said when pressed on the issue of recurring characters:
"No, the GTA IV characters are not returning to GTA V. The GTA IV canon is over and the characters had parted. GTA V will be set in Los Santos and new characters will make a debut."
Which makes sense really because they've never taken us back to the lives of Tommy Vercetti, CJ or any other protagonist of old, except in a few intriguing yet passing references via cut-scenes. Speaking of CJ... This is Los Santos we're going back to, and so clearly fans are going to be feeling some sense of nostalgia when they dip into the game come September. Grove Street will not be present, but we have seen gangsters wandering about wearing the colours of the Grove Street Family, which in itself is enough of a hawk back to the olden days. But it's unlikely that that will be enough for fans wanting to find out what happened to CJ in the events following 1992. 20 years have passed, and a lot could have happened. Besides, being a gangster is a dangerous occupation - is CJ dead? In GTA IV, graffiti can be seen on walls with "RIP", and then the previous protagonists' names - including CJ. Whether or not this is just Rockstar's way of saying they're finished with former protagonists in the main cannon or if it means something more literal, we're unlikely to ever know. Either way, you should expect a "CJ Ghost rumour" to rear its ugly head following the game's release, with players annoyed about him not being in the game being encouraged to start this myth, for nostalgia's sake if nothing else.
