GTA V Trailers: 10 Big Things You Might Have Missed

8. A Return To Classic GTA Craziness

There's a general sense, throughout both trailers I suppose but certainly more heavily in trailer 2, that GTA V represents a return to that over-the-top wackiness that the series rose to fame on, which was somewhat disappointingly trimmed back in GTA IV. Well, judging by the shot pictured above (as well as several other from GTA V's insane second trailer) they certainly seem to be fully off the leash. R* have clearly listened to their critics (which is always nice) and decided to dispense with their new semi-serious direction in favour of that familiar, tongue-in-cheek, outrageous R* tone we all know and love so much. Clearly, with how GTA IV split fans asunder, this'll be to the joy of some but maybe to the disappointment of others, however I'd argue it'll please a lot more people than it p***es off.
