One of the main areas of interest and speculation surrounding the release of a GTA title is the identity of the city which will play host to all the carnage, sex, murder, destruction and after GTA V yoga of the next instalment. Where will it take place? Will Rockstar revisit an old location or add a new city to the roster of sprawling, characterful metropolises they already have on offer? Will it take place in the United States or somewhere more exotic Rio, Hong Kong or even Glasgow (okay, not exotic)? Many fans have speculated that Rockstar are due to return to Vice City. Indeed, three games have now been set in San Andreas and three have also taken place in Liberty City. On the other hand, the much loved Vice City whose real world counterpart is Miami has appeared only twice. Others have speculated that Las Venturas or Las Vegas with its frivolous excess and Mafia-connections would make the perfect venue to house a GTA game. Speculation about this essential aspect of the game is understandably rife with no actual evidence actually substantiating any of these claims. Until Rockstar actually come nearer to releasing GTA VI we will know very little.
